All file services offline indefinitely for storage infrastructure work

All media services offline due to parity rebuild for failing drive

It looks like the parity check has progressed enough that cifs shares are responding again. We’re tentatively back online but there could be some hiccups.

An ungraceful shutdown of the fileserver means that it needs to run a parity check and while that happensa lot of services are offline. Plex is the big one. But all access to files will be effected. ETA for restoration is probably sometime monday.

Time to mess with some HDDs on the consolidated server. Lots of stuff will be offline in the interim. Will update when done

The Big Storage Server is online and mostly stable, services should be online until the admin gets bored and decides to make more changes.

After a lot faffing about. The Big Storage Server is back online but i’m going to leave most services off until the morning so I can do some testing and make sure we’re good.

Storage Backend is going offline for major upgrade. Plex will be off for the duration. No ETA.

Storage Infrastructure upgrade complete. Services are being brought back online.

Storage infrastructure upgrade will be easier with less IO traffic. Turnning off all external services for the duration. Should be back on later this afternoon.
